If you shop around a bit you will be able to pick up a good quality hardwood floor for as little as £10 per m2. Why is the flooring so cheap well the big flooring boom has slowed down. A year or two ago every body was buying the flooring like mad so all the shops that have opened to meet demands are now stuck with this flooring they need to sell. Apparently people are going back to carpet A wood floor not only looks better but can be cleaned easier and stays cleaner. Also the wood floors are enviromentally friendly To buy a hardwood floor a year ago the price would range form £25-£100 per m2 so you could be in for saving more than 50% on purchasing your flooring
